I would like to introduce you all to one of my favorite authors of all time. Cassandra Clare. She is author of the Mortal Instruments (Shadowhunters) Series. (If you are interested there is a television series based on this series called Shadowhunters on Freeform.

I personally do not like reading series of books because I feel that they are typically dragged out too long and decrease in quality in the series goes on. However, this series had me on my edge of my seat as I turned every page.

These are books that I had a very hard time putting down.

Other books and book series by Cassandra Clare include the Infernal Devices which is a prequel series of the Mortal Instruments. Also, the Bane Chronicles goes more in depth about the life of warlock Magnus Bane from the Shadowhunters series. Additionally, Clare has released her rather new series, the Dark Artifices, as well as a few other books.
